Sessions
consist of two 30 minute periods of sitting meditation
with walking meditation in between. On Sunday there is a 30 minute
meditation at 9:15 for students and members only and then a 10 am session
open to the public followed by a Dharma Talk by Sensei Al
Rapaport.
Meditation is the heart of OMZ. Transformation
happens easily when we see that we
are the Buddha, the "awakened one." All you need to meditate is the
desire to
awaken, which we all share. You can sit either on a meditation cushion
(zafu) or a
chair. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing so as not to
impair circulation.
